What Makes My Therapy Approach Different


Therapy with me is not one-size-fits-all. I combine evidence-based approaches such as Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behaviour Therapy (DBT), and Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT) with more intuitive, depth-oriented tools, including Jungian dreamwork, somatic exploration, symbolic reflection, and Reiki.

True healing happens when we address both the practical and the profound: your thoughts, emotions, nervous system, and inner stories.


What Happens in a Session


Each session is guided by what you need in the moment. On some days, we might work with a CBT thought record to gently challenge overwhelming beliefs. On others, you may share a recurring dream or sit with a difficult emotion that’s showing up in your body.

We may practise DBT skills to regulate big emotions, or slow down and notice what your nervous system is trying to communicate. This is the heart of integrative therapy; it flows with you.


Who I Work With


My clients often arrive at points of transition, uncertainty, or overwhelm. You might recognise yourself in one of the following:

A Bit About Me


I grew up across cultures and continents, which gave me a deep appreciation for the complexities of identity, language, and belonging. My training in the UK (MSc in Applied Clinical Psychology from the University of Bath) is paired with certifications in CBT and TF-CBT, DBT and ACT, perinatal mental health, and neurodiversity-affirming trauma-informed care.


This blend of personal insight and clinical training allows me to hold space that is both grounded and expansive, a space where you can feel seen and supported.


Thinking About Starting Therapy


You might not know exactly what you’re looking for, only that something needs to shift. That’s okay. Many people begin therapy unsure of where to start. The important thing is that you’ve noticed that call within yourself.


Our work together can offer emotional regulation and coping skills, a place to explore uncertainty or loss, connection with parts of yourself you may have hidden or outgrown, relief from inner chaos, tension, or burnout, and a more stable, embodied sense of who you are.

Devika Abrol, MSc, BSc (Hons), is a UK-trained psychotherapist. With a warm, integrative approach, she combines evidence-based modalities like CBT, DBT, and ACT with holistic practices including Jungian dreamwork and Reiki. Devika holds degrees from the University of Nottingham & University of Bath, along with advanced certifications in trauma, perinatal mental health, and autism. Her practice is culturally sensitive, accessible, and embodies a safe, compassionate space for children, teens, women, expats, and neurodivergent individuals to feel truly seen.
